It's been a good ride so far!

Since I was just a kid all I have ever wanted to do was to make people laugh or just smile. As a child, an educator sent a note home to my parents. It read; If your son thinks he is going to get through life making people laugh he is in for a RUDE AWAKENING! He is not living up to his potential. WELL, I'M STILL NOT! But at this site you will at least see me try. From the heart, thank you for even being interested, it means the world to me. I always say, I have not a single fan but many a friend!

I don't think that it could be better!

Well I've done it!  I made it through another rally and I am no worse for the wear!  The only thing different about this rally was that I arrived at this one injured!  Typically I only leave them injured so it was a nice change of pace!  Leading in to the rally and after each night I averaged 3.5 to 4.5 hours of sleep so to say that I wasn't at the top of my game would truly be an understatement.  It was the crowd having a great time and seeing the smiles on their faces that gave me the strength to pull through.  Well that and the occasional, desperately needed shot of Jack Daniels!  I arrived home in Phoenix last night at midnight, which for me was 3 am on the clock that I was running on.  I stayed awake till 3 am which was really 6 am for me and when I finally fell asleep, I slept all damn day.  When I finally did get up, I limped out of bed, naked, to the pool and laid down on a chair in the sun!  It wasn't long before I had to cover up the "boys" with a bandanna because they were boiling!  It sure was nice to be home!  I got yet another two hours of rest and it really made me feel great.

When I return from these events and people ask me how things were, the answer is always "great"!  When asked about specific events and I try to recall them, everything is blank!  As the next few days follow, the events that transpired slowly creep back in to my brain!  It's like my brain is swollen and I have to put ice on it to bring the swelling down and then the memories rush back in!  Yes, I know, I am a lunatic!  So my point is this right now;  I would very much like to tell you all about Biketoberfest at the Broken Spoke, but right this moment, I SIMPLY CAN'T!  There is just not much in the ol' memory bank!

I just wanted to write a quick post and say thank you!  There were so many people that began working long before this rally ever even began to the people who are quite literally still on property at the Spoke right now working their asses off to clean it up!  From the bottom of my heart, this could never have been done without you, each and every single one of you!  I just wrote this to say thanks and to let you guys know that I am back home, safe and sound and in the following days, I plan to write about this years Biketoberfest!

Most importantly though, I want to say from the depths of my heart and soul, THANK YOU to all of you who came to the Broken Spoke to party with us!  There are so many of you amazing people that I have become friends with over the years that in all that time I'd never had the pleasure of getting to meet you in person and for a great many of you, at this rally, that finally got to happen!  That was for sure one of the major highlights of this rally for me!  I also want to say thank you to each and every single one of you whose first questions to me were about Diane!  It touches me that you guys have grown to love and care about her and her battle with MS!  God Bless You!  One day soon, I will find a way to bring her to one of these larger rallies so that she can see first hand, for herself how much she is loved by so many!

So for now, I'm going to actually eat something!  I eat very little once I have switched to rally mode!  I am going to go back to bed, wrap my arms around my girl and count my lucky stars that I have been blessed to have been surrounded by so many amazing people, not only in business and in cyber space but in my real life as well.  I could not ask for more than I have!  Everyone ride safe and until we see each other on the road or at the next rally;

Keep the wind in your face,
Tits in your back
and The Man off your ass!

Your friend,
Jack Shit
