It's been a good ride so far!

Since I was just a kid all I have ever wanted to do was to make people laugh or just smile. As a child, an educator sent a note home to my parents. It read; If your son thinks he is going to get through life making people laugh he is in for a RUDE AWAKENING! He is not living up to his potential. WELL, I'M STILL NOT! But at this site you will at least see me try. From the heart, thank you for even being interested, it means the world to me. I always say, I have not a single fan but many a friend!

Great day with Great people for a great ride!

Not long before Daytona Bike Week I was burning the candle at both ends.  I was under an insane amount of pressure to write the feature story for the 15th anniversary issue of Cycle Source Magazine and for me, it was such an incredible honor that I put an epic amount of pressure on myself to make it the best piece I've ever written.  I was leaving to go away and my property was covered in waist high weeds.  Add to that the fact that I tried to do something really cool to surprise some friends and it back fired in a big way and I was really upset about it.  Now put on top of that the stress of daily life, living each day in agonizing pain and having to worry about Diane and her MS and what wild course that would choose to run during this time and it was damn near enough to make me crack.  I decided that once I finished the article, I WAS DONE!  I was done with technology and I was going Flintstone!  So I disconnected myself from the world and delved deep in to my mind to search for meaning in what I was doing, where I was going and just who I'd be going there with.  I get invited all the time to take trips, go on day rides, come over to people's homes for parties and shit and I just never seem to have the time or the energy to do it.  On this gorgeous Saturday in February I just said fuck it!  I'm getting on my bike, meeting up with a bunch of plain ol' good folk and ride, ride, ride!  That is just what I did.  I rode down to Baseline Sports Bar and arrived to a near full parking lot with more chrome than this guy is use to seeing.  I tend to lean towards the dirty and rusty.  I was greeted by friends that I had not gotten to see in some time.  Usually the only way we all get together is at a memorial service but this day was not the case.  This day was about getting on our Murdersickles, riding the twisties and throwing down a few afterwards and it was just what the doctor ordered!  For me it was amazing, for the people you will see at the end of the video, probably not so amazing!  But hey, who gets their wedding stormed by 100+ bikers?  These people did.  I have a funny feeling that someone else more than likely had the silly thought that they would be the one to catch the garter that day.... how silly of them!

Until we see each other on the road,
Keep the wind in your face,
Tits in your back
and The Man off your ASS!

Your friend,
Jack Shit
